After our department witnessed two drownings, we knew we needed to do better. We looked around, did our research, and found STARR. We were all terrified of moving water. STARR's Instructors were great; their experience and knowledge gave all of us the confidence to enter the moving water and understand the hydraulics to not only be able to do self-rescue and perform other rescues. Highly recommend STARR's Instructors and training courses.

The entire water rescue program is TOP NOTCH! The course is absolutely worth the time and money. Just wish more departments / agencies would take the course.
This was the best and most educational CPR class I have taken in years. The instructor provide information that better explains why 'high quality' CPR works, not just how to do the actions. I would highly recommend any medical courses with STARR.

I work at a local agency that provides in home care for disabled people. I have taken CPR classes in the past and most just play a video and walk away. STARR was totally different. Not only did they show the video but they actually provided educational information as to the underlying reasons why CPR is working, what each action is actually doing, and did it in an easy understandable manner. I'll continue recertifying at STARR.
