This course is designed to train individuals with little to no medical training to give CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. This course meets the needs for many jobs, regulatory, and other requirements.

This course is designed to train anyone with limited or no medical training. Individuals learn basic first aid for the most common emergencies, including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills.

Pediatric Advanced Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS)

This course is designed for healthcare providers who might encounter pediatric emergency situations. Individuals interact with real patient cases, and realistic simulations and animations to assess and stabilize pediatric patients experiencing respiratory and shock emergencies, and cardiopulmonary arrest. Provides lifesaving interventions within the initial minutes  of response until a child can be transferred to advance providers.

This course is designed for anyone with a reasonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathogens such as: 

Correctional Officers, Childcare workers, Security guards, Maintenance workers, School personnel, Hotel housekeepers, Health and Fitness club staff, and Tattoo artists. The course teaches how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials.​​​​​​​​

Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, AED, with

USCG AMERHA-216

Cost $ 85.00

This course 

s the unique course code for the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) approved American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course. This certification is required for individuals applying for a merchant mariner credential (MMC). To fulfill the requirement, you must obtain a certificate with your name, the AMERHA-216 code, and the date of completion from an AHA-certified instructor. 

The National Maritime Center (NMC) states that a certificate with the code AMERHA-216 is required to document satisfactory completion of the First Aid training for a merchant mariner credential.
