WATER SAFETY AND SURVIVAL


WATER SAFETY AND SUVIVAL is a unique program designed to give students working or traveling on, over, or near water with the knowledge and skills necessary to react appropriately. This course provides information about water safety, drowning prevention, emergency response, hydrodynamic principles, aquatic skills, and stroke mechanics. These are the key principles needed to survive and which can be the difference between life and death.


AUDIENCE: This course is for anyone who works on, over, or near water who want to enhance their situational awareness and response to water related incidents while working.

Basic Hydrology

Basic Aquatic Skills

Basic Water Survival Techniques


COURSE FORMAT: This course is classroom-based which includes instructor, video, and/or PowerPoint throughout the course. This course is approximately 6 hours in length.
