CPR and AED
CPR and AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor led course from ASHI that teaches lay students the bases of CPR and the use of an AED. This course is based on the 2015 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC), Science with Treatment Recommendations (CoSTR) and other evidence based treatment recommendations.
AUDIENCE: This course is for anyone with limited or no formal medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED in order to meet certain job, regulatory, or other requirements. This course DOES NOT teach FIRST AID or CPR for HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL, see our ASHI Basic First Aid, AHA First Aid, or AHA BLS CPR course.
